Q-147 Distributor Mod

The Q-147 Distributor  Module is basically a reverse-mixer, and a great way to split and modify voltages, with the ability to change the voltage output of 3 of the 4 outputs, relative to the voltage input. This works like the "Offset" of the Q-125 Signal Processor. And, just like the signal processor, when an input voltage is not present, the output jacks supply a voltage source, which is variable (+/- 5 volts) on the first 3 pots, and a steady +5 volts on the 4th output.

My modification of this module is in keeping with the notion of using it as a 'preset' device, allows one to set the desired voltage levels and routing, then to simply turn them on or off as needed. I have also installed a switch on the input jack which shuts-off the input, allowing the outputs to be straight voltage sources. The pots have a switch installed on the center wire, while the input and output #4 jacks have switches inserted on the 'tip' wire. It's a simple modification, but one that significantly increases the module's abilities. It's another of those modifications, that once you've done it and used it, you wonder how you got along without it.
