This is especially useful if oscillators are tuned, and you do not wish to have to retune.
Q-109 Envelope Generator (above - right) There are two modifications I've done to the Q-109 Envelope Generator Module. One is timing selection (short or long), and the other is a switch inserted on the 'sustain' pot to allow that level to be 'preset', then switched on or off. This is especially useful when the EG is controlling the oscillator's pitch. Here are the jumper pins on the PCB:
Shown below, is the MTA connector which is attached to the toggle switch mounted on the front panel. This mod allows you to switch between the short and long timing settings, rather than having to physically add or remove a jumper (not to mention having to remove the module).
