Q-117 Sample/Hold & Q-113 8-Ch. Mixer Q-117 Sample & hold (image below - left side) Adding a toggle-switch to the gate input/output jack of the Q-117 Sample & Hold Module allows gate signals to be turned on or off using a switch, rather than having to insert or remove a patchcord. The Q-117 gate jack serves as both an input and an output, depending on whether the internal oscillator is being used, or an external gate source is being used. Q-113 8-Channel Mixer (image above - right side) The Q-113 8-Channel Mixer has one major advantage over the Q-112 4-Channel Mixer, in that, you have an additional output for all 8 channels (that is, outputs for an 'A', a 'B', and 'both'). Other than that, the two mixers serve the same function. Installing switches to the input jacks allow the inputs to be switched on or off without having to use the pot(s), or pull or insert patchcords. If the switches are inserted at the pots rather than the jacks, the 6 channels with pots can be used in a 'preset' configuration. Channels 4 and 8 have no pots.
