These pages contains some of the modifications
I've made to modules in my Synthesizers.com systems. Most of the
modifications involved nothing more than installing toggle switches
at key locations. You may find these and other module modifications
at Synthesizers.com
WIKI Modifications. The initial goal was to allow
'presets' to be used for live performance, whereby
patches could be set-up in advance, then switched on/off, or various
control-voltages routed to various locations, but easily altered or
used 'on-the-fly'. The modifications, once installed, proved to
be quite invaluable in the studio as well, allowing instant patch
changes ' on-the-fly', while recording. Inserting switches to jacks
should always be done at the 'tip' wire, not the 'ground' wire. For
reversible pots, the center wire is used, and normal pots, the hot
wire... not the ground.
